Spongebob is a well loved character that both children and adults recognize. Add some holiday fun by printing out coloring pages of this individual as well as his cast of fun characters. There are many such coloring pages that feature Spongebob in a Santa hat, decorating the tree, with presents, and much more. Children will be very excited when they see all of these different activities taking place in the coloring pages. I have a ton of scrapbooks now, all filled with his completed pages. I suspect I will love looking through these when I am older. The rest will go up on the walls of the house, mostly in the lounge or conservatory I imagine. By showing them off proudly I want to make clear to my boy how precious they are to me. By this I am hoping to build his self-confidence which was something I still suffer a lack of, so am keen to give my son the best head start in life that I can. When we get visitors to the house, whether friends or family you can also be sure they will comment on the artworks and tell my son what a great job he did. It seems to be having a good effect to as he has started to become more outgoing and will talk to near strangers now about his works, whats colors he used etc. Whereas before he would have been quiet with some folks, now he often offers to make them one straight away so they can take it home with them! As a young ones parent or a school teacher you need to plan activities with him for coloring pages. For the most part the parents tend to give those coloring pages to kid to keep him busy. But the fact is that these kids need to get some mental exercise from these coloring pages and it should be construed by the kid as a mundane exercise. Older children may become bored with coloring and prefer to create their own images. This is a natural progression, and one parents should welcome. Nevertheless, coloring does have a place in child development and can become part of his or her daily routine. Some children may have difficulty expressing themselves; however, as they continue to be creative they will often start to open up more readily. Colouring is a great way to express themselves and their ideas, particularly if they have problems they do not know how to cope with. It is used to bring subconscious thoughts to the surface and help children to understand them. You might not realise it yet you are helping the environment as you do not need paper to draw and colour images.
