Maptiks Soon To Support ESRI With Web Map Analytics
Prince George, BC: After just over a month from launching, Maptiks, which provides web map analytics tools for Google Maps API, LeafletJS and OpenLayers3, will be launching its ESRI integration to all current and future enterprise customers.
Founder, Will Cadell spoke about their integration with ESRI during their latest press release.
“This is a big deal for us. ESRI’s web map platforms are used by tens of thousands of GIS users and developers for good reason. We’re just starting to test ESRI’s integration with our Maptiks Partners, who are getting early access. But we expect to launch the ESRI web map analytics tool to all of our enterprise customers in a few weeks. The integration will first support ESRI’s Leaflet and ESRI’s Javascript API.”
Maptiks joined the ESRI Emerging Technology Program in September and has since been working closely with their team to deploy the integration. ESRI currently doesn’t provide in-depth web map analytics with key metrics on map activities and map performance – they have therefore pushed to get the Maptiks analytics integration running sooner than later in hopes to add value to their data centric customers.
Will Cadell also mentioned that Maptiks is actively signing up new Partners who provide professional GIS solutions to help onboard customers looking for web map analytics with ESRI’s platform. “We’re a small team. At the moment we can’t support larger integration projects for government agencies and the like. We’ve opened up a Maptiks Partner program allowing GIS solutions providers to manage and seamlessly onboard mid to large sized customers with us.”
